Become part of our line up: Application period until January 31, 2025

Hello and welcome to our Talent Contest. We are looking for young talents (from the region) from all areas of music who are keen to prove their skills on our stage and celebrate with the audience! All information about how the talent contest works, how you can take part and the application criteria can be found here.

The time has finally come: Our Talent Contest is starting the next round and is being supported in the second edition by our partner Lieler! You can apply now until January 31, 2025. What is there to win? This year there is once again a performance slot on Friday, July 4th, 2025 with a fee of €500 at the Pinot and Rock for the winners of our talent contest.
Have we piqued your interest? Then here are our application criteria. If you meet these requirements, you can easily apply using the form below!

You are a band, group or solo artist from the region (Baden-Württemberg, Alsace, Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft, Solothurn, Jura, Aargau, Zurich, Schaffhausen, Thurgau)
at least one member lives in one of the regions mentioned
All members of your formation are of legal age
As the winner, you have to play a live show with your own compositions lasting (at least) 30 minutes on our technically fully equipped stage
Your music and lyrics are of high quality
Your texts or symbols are not inhumane, racist or illegal
You are not signed to any label/agency yet
All genres of music are welcome: a cappella, brass, choir, jazz, classical, metal, pop, punk, rap, rock, indie, alternative, etc.

Our talent contest consists of 4 phases. Here you will find all the current information about the current status of the talent contest! We are looking forward to you and of course to your application!

Application
We have piqued your interest and you want to be part of Pinot and Rock? Then check out our application period and take part in our talent contest.
Preselection by the jury
Based on defined criteria, our jury will make a preselection. Be curious to see how they will decide!
Online voting
Our top 30 will enter the online voting. Here your fan base is in demand. Encourage everyone to vote for you. The best 15 acts will make it to the final round.
Expert jury
Our expert jury will select the winners from the 15 acts who will complement our line-up for the 2025 festival!
